An open edition print of my original illustration 'Nottingham Catchfly'. A delicate wildflower that was once abundant on the walls of Nottingham Castle. After a 200 year absence, the flower has recently replanted around Nottingham Castle, and remains the county flower of Nottinghamshire!
The dainty white petals emerge to produce a scent attracting night-flying insects + moths.
Originally hand painted with watercolour and ink, and edited together to create a poster style print on a bold black background.

Printed onto beautiful archival Bockingford inkjet paper 190gsm with pigment inks. This is a lovely high quality paper, with a very subtle surface texture.
Your print will be signed on the front, and on the back it will also be signed, titled and dated.
